Funny, I made an entry pertaining to this almost a year ago. October of '08.
But I came across this article on Cracked,
And it's pretty insightful, and basically reiterates what I said in my previous entry.
5 Things You Think Will Make You Happy (But Won't)
http://www.cracked.com/article_17061_p2.html
But the thing is, when I think about this, it sets off a chain reaction in which I start second-guessing myself on tons of stuff. This tends to start problems. Clouds of doubt rise up out of my stomach and into my brain, and I say to myself, "Do I know what I really want?".
"Experts have figured out that the brain has no ability to actually predict your emotional reaction to life changes that haven't happened yet. In other words, you physically do not know what you want. The act of sitting around pondering it is apparently what fucks you up."
How do I guide myself or try to lead my life if I don't even know what'll make me happy?
