Someone is trying to jump off a building, and Jim Carrey, thinking fast, grabs a guitar and serenades him and the crowd.
I love the song "Jumper" by Third Eye Blind too. And I always thought, if someone were on a ledge about to commit suicide, someone should get a guitar and just play it.
On a sort of creepy, related note, I heard from a friend at SJSU that someone tried to commit suicide by jumping off the school library or something. :(
And she saw the blood and thought it was juice. O_o
I don't get it.
Ultimately though, you're going to die eventually one way or the other, and once you do, you won't even know you were alive to begin with. You weren't alive for an eternity before you were born, and you'll be not alive for an eternity after you die - so what's a few extra decades compared to two eternities? Use those decades, do cool things with them while you have a mind with which to know you did them. Disappear and set up a new life if you really must, but where's the point in cutting short what's already nothing more than the blink of an eye?
