Woo.

Finally cleaned up the HTML coding a little bit, changed the spacing, and added a few things. Search bar, took a while to get right, but now it's awesome.

And thanks to Disqus the comments are a lot cooler.


I've had a lot of inspiration the past few days. (and a lot less sleep)
I still want to someday get a pretty decent online portfolio up.
But I'm also trying to revamp the filming crew I used to have with old friends.

Besides the upcoming International Secret Agents project,
I'm trying to undertake a few more.










That date isn't a release date, that's the date I hope to start filming. I just wanted to stick a date in there to fill out the teaser a little.

I also registered a tumblr to post the future videos on too.

Left vs. Right
and I'm not talking about politics.

I often wonder what it'd be like if, at certain parts of my life growing up, I had stuck with certain disciplines, be it martial arts, baseball, violin, piano, drawing, etc. (bet you didn't know I did all that didja?)
There are also tons of times I wish I were a math genius, or some sort of prodigy, like the kids my parents would make me watch on the nightly chinese news. Then again, with the idea that every little bit has had a monumental "butterfly effect" on my life, I guess I'm glad these things didn't happen, because i'm sort of happy with how I am now. But I also have this irrational fear that indulging too much in one mental discipline would throw off the left-brain right-brain balance. Although I'm thinking, this is pretty absurd, I should just try to absorb as much as I can, and chances are some of it will stick. I like to think I'm a bit more right-brained, as I'm more of a creative English than Math, visual learning kind of guy. I'm trying to embrace my creative side a bit more, especially since I'm contemplating going into a profession that will sort of require it.

Or maybe I'm just making up excuses because I really really don't want to take any math next quarter. -_-

Damn what happened. I used to work A LOT harder. Not in school or anything important, hah, but I mean in my hobbies, and "passions". I used to be pretty adept at webpage design, and HTML/CSS/XHTML/ANYOTHERL, and I used to WANT to learn more. When I went to church, I was even given assignments for designs in photoshop, either making a banner for a message series, or an advertisement to show off an event. (It was a pretty big deal for me, a graphic design noob, having his designs shown to congregations of 3-400 people.) And when I first took Animation, I remember I spent hours on flash, just drawing, making vectors for fun. Then that 3rd period class turned into Tetris practice. I feel bad, because the teacher was really knowledgable about the stuff, and I eventually stopped going to his class, because he never took roll, so I could hang out with the people with free periods in the college and career center.
Now I'm barely able to tweak this blogger account without fear of totally screwing up the layout design.

I'm taking an intro to film class, hopefully I don't totally slack off, and learn something that I'll be able to use later on. I used to hate classes that only taught theory, and never practice, but I learned something about that from when I went to see Wong Fu at Berkeley. Wes was saying that, although he didn't see the application then, his film and design classes were some of the most important, and yeah, sure film schools will teach you the technical stuff, but technology changes, theory stays the same. It also motivated them to learn what they needed to know on their own, whether it was lighting, final cut pro, etc.
